Before scheduling service – please read this guide!
Our systems are designed to operate efficiently when properly maintained and set up.
Many common concerns can be resolved quickly—without needing a service visit.
Before calling for service, please check:
- System is set to HEAT (winter) or COOL (summer)
- Remote batteries are fresh and working
- Filters are clean (recommended every 30-60 days)
- Indoor units are unobstructed (no furniture, curtains, etc.)
- Outdoor unit is clear of debris, snow and build-up
- System has not been frequently turned on/off
Outdoor Unit Care & Airflow
Your outdoor unit needs proper airflow to function efficiently. Please ensure:
- 12 - 18 inches of clearance around the unit
- Unit is free of: snow and ice buildup, leaves and debris, dryer lint or dust
Restricted airflow can reduce performance and may cause system shutdowns.
How To Reboot Your Mini-Split
Mini-split systems are advanced electronic systems and may occasionally require a reset.
To reset your system:
- Turn system OFF using the remote
- Turn OFF breaker at electrical panel
- Turn OFF outdoor disconnect
- Wait 5 full minutes
- Turn power back ON
- Restart system
