How Mass Save® Works:
General Overview:
The Mass Save® program is a Massachusetts-based initiative aimed at helping eligible residents reduce their utility expenses and enhance their energy consumption efficiency. This program emerges from a collaborative effort between multiple program sponsors, the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, and the leading utility companies and energy providers within the state.
Eligible participants in this program are entitled to receive a complimentary home energy evaluation, alongside support in energy conservation, energy management, and lowering their energy costs. Additionally, the program provides access to various other resources, rebates, and incentives.
What is the Goal of Mass Save®?
The main goal of this program is to empower homeowners with the knowledge to grasp the key elements of their energy consumption, enabling them to use energy more efficiently, reduce their expenses, and decrease overall energy use. Through the program, participants are offered a complimentary home evaluation to discover their energy patterns and learn about actions they can take to enhance their energy efficiency. Beyond providing immediate financial savings, the program also contributes to environmental protection by aiming for a substantial reduction in future energy consumption.
