4. WordPress Site Features
Our Site is built on WordPress. Depending on how you interact with it, the following may apply:
Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we collect the data shown in the comment form along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you have a public profile picture.
Media. If you upload images to the Site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), because visitors can download and extract that data.
Cookies from site functionality. If you leave a comment or log in, WordPress may set cookies to save your details or maintain your session. These typically expire within one day to one year depending on the cookie.
Embedded content from other websites. Pages on this Site may include embedded content such as videos or maps. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that website directly. Those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location, and traffic source. This data is used in aggregate to improve our website and marketing. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising and remarketing. [IF APPLICABLE: We use Google Ads, including remarketing features, and may use advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or other advertising platforms.] These technologies allow us to show ads to people who have previously visited the Site. We do not receive your name or contact information from these platforms as part of this process. You can manage ad personalization through Google My Ad Center and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
Conversion tracking. We may use tracking technology to record when a form submission or phone call originates from an ad or search listing, so we can measure which marketing sources are effective.
Your cookie choices. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the Site to work incorrectly.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. [IF APPLICABLE: We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.]

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages related to work we are performing for you.
13. Third Party Links
The Site may link to other websites, including Mass Save®, utility providers, manufacturers, and review platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing information.
